  2. My name is Sherry Delk. My son, Kalon, has Autism and is almost 15 yrs old now. The connection he has with dogs is amazing! The first word he ever spoke on his own, with meaning, was “Winky”. Winky was his dog’s name. (the dog was named when we got him as a pup:) I had put the dog out on the porch, but Kalon meant it was to be a house dog. After he spoke Winky’s name, it did indeed become an inside dog!
