 Roxie Digs Celebrities and their Dogs focuses on the special relationships celebrities have or  had  with their dogs.   Barbara Streisand shared the spotlight with her dog “Sammy”, Paul McCartney wrote Martha My Dear for his sheepdog Martha, Steven Spielberg uses his own dogs in his movies, Billy Collins United States Poet Laureate (2001-2003) has written several poems about his dog.  Oprah Winfrey is a well-known advocate  for animals and several times has exposed the horrors of puppy mills on the Oprah Winfrey Show.  Oprah adopted  Sadie a blond cocker spaniel puppy  from PAWS a Chicago animal shelter.
